Tellin Stories
Gwen does this a couple times a day and it's my current favorite thing. Sometimes she's talking to me, sometimes one of her buddies, but always with this much enthusiasm. What is she talking about?! Who cares! Also, this video has made it clear that it's time to cut off the wispy mullet. Baby's growing up.

We are SO close to knowing what she's thinking in there! I feel like not much time goes by between visits, but she changes so much. And good luck with the mullet, she's as darling as ever even with it.
rhoda was fussing and i had her over my shoulder and when i was playing this she stopped crying so she could listen to the whole thing. probably she understood the whole conversation.
There's definitely a story there and she's thinking. Do you wonder if she ever thinks "Mom,why are you responding like that? Don't you understand what I'm saying?" It kind of reminds me of when you used to talk in your sleep, Katie. I always felt like you were ALMOST speaking English, like I should be able to understand you, but I just couldn't, quite.
I wish we lived closer so Gwen could teach Emma all her tricks. She loved this!
