no offense to all the people that love this movie or to the academy, which nominated it for 5 awards or the set designers that painted the walls such great colors or the costume designers that chose such great coats but i really don't care about this movie. they sing the entire time. to the exact same melody. for 90 minutes. i wasn't prepared for that. and i love musicals. it's not a big deal, i just put my little head down and slept through the last 75 minutes.

Yeah, I heard this movie was only worth it for the clothes. And if a movie is only worth it for the clothes, just parade those clothes in front of me for 10 minutes and let me get on with my life.

I'm just gonna throw this out there... but maybe if you stopped sleeping through so many movies, you'd actually be able to sleep at night... maybe?
Never saw this movie, but the music was wildly popular back in the day. Don't know why I didn't see it, maybe because it was "foreign"?
